Phase 4: Andy Park Art
For more than 30 years, each phase of my career has taken me somewhere new.
Comics.
Video games.
Film.
This next phase is taking me somewhere new but also different.
For the first time, I’m building something of my own.
Andy Park Art
Andy Park Art is the brand and creative platform for my artwork, collector releases, a return to comics, collaborations with creators and studios, original creations, and other creative opportunities I choose to pursue.
It’s a chance to take everything I’ve learned over the past 30+ years—as an artist, designer, storyteller, and creative director—and put it all under one roof.
To create work I believe in.
To choose the projects and opportunities I want to pursue.
To build a direct connection with the people who have followed and supported my work over the years—and with those just discovering it now.
It’s creative independence.
And today, I’m excited to officially launch:
AndyParkArt.com
This will be the home for my artwork, stories, process, announcements, appearances, collector releases, and everything that comes next.
And it feels fitting that the first step forward also takes me back to where everything began.
A full-circle moment.
Comics.
And I’m incredibly excited to finally reveal the first release:
The Andy Park Art Inaugural Variant Cover Drop
MARVEL’S AVENGERS #1
The “Legacy” Cover

I call this the “Legacy” cover because The Avengers have been woven through so many different parts of my life and career.
I grew up reading The Avengers and West Coast Avengers. They were part of the reason I wanted to draw comics in the first place.
Years later, when I was working on God of War and was asked what it would take for me to leave Sony, my answer was: “The Avengers.”
Not long after that, I joined Marvel Studios. I was specifically hired to work on The Avengers, and that film became the beginning of a 16-year journey that changed my life. And fittingly, the final full film I had the honor of leading Visual Development on was the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday.
So when the opportunity came to create my own exclusive cover for a new Avengers #1, it felt almost impossible to ignore.
For the artwork, I wanted to of course showcase the new team, but I also wanted to celebrate the legacy of the Avengers—heroes who have carried the name through the years, and characters who have a very personal connection to my own journey. The six in the background to the right of the new team are the original six Avengers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, just in their classic looks.
It became more than just another comic book cover for me.
It became a way to acknowledge where I came from, everything that happened along the way, and the beginning of whatever comes next.
That’s why I call it the Legacy Cover.
And that’s why it feels like the right first release for Andy Park Art.
This isn’t simply a return to the past.
It’s the beginning of something new.
The first three phases of my career gave me experiences I never could have imagined when I first walked into San Diego Comic-Con at 18 years old with a portfolio in my hands.
Now I get to take everything I learned from those experiences and decide where I want to go next.
And I’m incredibly grateful that you’re here at the beginning of it.
For more than 30 years, every phase of my career has prepared me for the next one.
What’s next?
A new beginning.
Phase 4 starts now.
